She currently works as a Tourism Specialist at the Eastern Finland RWAC and as a Food Tourism Trainer at the Visit Finland Academy, where she helps tourism businesses refine their products and services for international markets. Her ability to guide businesses in crafting authentic, high-quality culinary experiences ensures that certified companies meet the highest standards.

Anna’s role as Finland’s first Ambassador for the World Food Travel Association further solidifies her position as a leader in food tourism. Her extensive domestic and international networks allow her to collaborate widely, identify outstanding candidates for certification, and ensure that Finland’s culinary heritage is represented with authenticity and excellence.

Beyond her industry expertise, Anna has a strong background in project management, business development, rural tourism, and hospitality management, complemented by additional studies in sales, service design, digital marketing, and agrology. As an entrepreneur for over seven years, she understands the challenges and opportunities within the tourism industry firsthand.

She is also a dedicated community builder, fostering professional connections through her widely followed Facebook group "Matkailun Parhaaksi," a platform that unites over 3,700 Finnish tourism professionals to exchange ideas and drive innovation in the industry.

In her role as a Certification Inspector, Anna will focus on ensuring the integrity of the certification process in Finland, using her vast experience to promote responsible and sustainable culinary tourism. She is committed to identifying and supporting businesses that showcase authentic Finnish food heritage, helping them strengthen their market presence while preserving and celebrating regional culinary traditions.
